An important part of Arekibo’s responsibility as the digital agency for Microsoft Ireland is to advise and support the launch of international digital campaigns for the Irish market. One of Arekibo’s recent projects was the launch of the Microsoft Dynamics CRM Online product launch.
The objective was to raise the awareness of Microsoft in the cloud CRM (Customer Relation Management) space with the release of their Microsoft Dynamics CRM Online product. The campaigns were tasked with expanding the awareness of Microsoft as a contender in the CRM space, and also to increase the low level of understanding among SMEs of the benefits of implementing a CRM strategy to support and develop their businesses.
The brief was to create a local campaign that would increase awareness of the benefits of the Dynamics CRM suite for SMEs across Ireland, and ultimately encourage potential customers to trial the software. The creative concept would also have to to support being rolled out across radio, PR, online and social media.
Taking a creative and topical spin Arekibo’s campaign creative worked with the local issue dominating the media at the time and used the upcoming Irish general election as a basis to tap into the national discourse. To support the campaign Microsoft created the report Managing Customers for Growth – A Report on Customer Relationship Management in Ireland that contained the results of a survey of how 400 Irish businesses use CRM as well as interviews with key thought leaders on the value of CRM for Irish businesses.
Arekibo created the concept for the campaign and designed and developed a campaign website and banner ad campaign that was supported by radio, print and PR.
The results have significantly exceeded the campaign targets and Arekibo was delighted to see Microsoft honoured with a nomination for the campaign in the 2011 AIM Marketing awards.
